The coordinate drilling machine features the rare option of motorized table drive in the X and Y axes and potentiometers. This eliminates the tedious manual adjustment of the individual coordinates over long distances with hand cranks. Furthermore, it has the rare thermal stabilization and expansion compensation. For this purpose, 2 heaters are provided, which can and must be switched on separately before starting work and to maintain high accuracy and dimensions. This explains the factory-high positioning accuracy of 0.002 mm with a resolution of 0.001 mm.

What is particularly unique is that the Hauser has two Heidenhain digital displays with a total of 4 glass scales with 1My resolution, also for the quill feed. This is a great advantage for precise drilling and milling in depth with Wohlhaupter, spindle tools, etc. With the mentioned options and in this first-class condition, it is very rare and most likely no longer available.
