FAM ILC-2 Linear Dicer and Slicer

FAM ILC-2

FAM ILC-2 Linear Dicer / Slicer – Stainless Steel

The FAM ILC-2 industrial dicer/slicer is designed for continuous and precise cutting of food products into dice, strips, slices, and other formats, depending on the installed blade and accessory set.

Manufactured by FAM, a specialist in industrial cutting systems, the ILC-2 uses a multi-stage cutting process to obtain pieces with regular and repeatable dimensions. It is particularly suitable for processing lines that require high cutting uniformity and continuous production.

Its construction primarily in stainless steel, continuous feed, and robust cutting system allow it to be integrated into professional processing lines for fruits, vegetables, and other food products.

CUTTING PROCESS

The FAM ILC-2 receives the product and guides it towards the various cutting elements of the machine.

Depending on the installed tooling, the product passes through successive cutting stages. In a typical dicing configuration, the system performs the necessary cuts in different planes until dice with regular dimensions are obtained.

The final size and geometry depend directly on the configuration of blades, slice guides, and installed cutting elements.

It can be used for:

Dicing
Strip cutting
Slice cutting
Uniform size reduction
Product preparation before cooking
Preparation for IQF freezing
Pre-packaging preparation

APPLICATIONS

Particularly suitable for fruit and vegetable processors, manufacturers of frozen products, canneries, and producers of prepared meals that require uniform industrial cutting.

Depending on the installed tooling and the characteristics of the product, it can be used for potatoes, carrots, onions, fruits, vegetables, and other food products.

The combination of FAM technology, ILC-2 model, continuous cutting, and interchangeable tooling provides a versatile solution for industrial cutting and dicing lines.
