Washing System
The heart of the PT series: inside the machine, two S-shaped wash fields operate. With optimized water flow and special nozzle geometry, they ensure even water distribution, delivering outstanding wash results with rinse water consumption as low as 2.2 liters per cycle. Quality down to the finest detail: robust stainless steel shafts guarantee excellent rotational properties and contribute to the high reliability of the PT-XL.

Variable Wash Pressure Adjustment
Every Winterhalter PT-XL is equipped as standard with variable water pressure control: VarioPower precisely adjusts the wash pressure to match the washed items and their degree of soiling. Delicate glasses and fragile dishes are washed with lower pressure, while sturdy dishware is cleaned with higher pressure. This ensures effective removal of heavy soils while protecting sensitive items and keeping them securely in place.

Wastewater Heat Recovery
A clear advantage of the PT series: EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery is standard. The heat exchanger utilizes wastewater energy to preheat incoming cold water. Benefits: the machine re-heats faster between cycles, saves resources, and can reduce energy costs by up to 10%.

Exhaust Air Heat Recovery
The Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus includes exhaust air heat recovery. In addition to the standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is fitted. It uses the energy from hot steam inside the machine to preheat incoming cold water. When opening the machine, very little humid, warm steam escapes into the room, and up to 15% energy costs can be saved per wash cycle.
