The Used Wrap Around SGE year 2013 – 3000 boxes/hour delivers high-efficiency carton packaging for PET and glass containers. S.G.E. manufactured this machine in 2013, and since then, it has served as a reliable solution for secondary packaging in bottling lines. Not only does the structure support demanding industrial use, but it also ensures consistent and repeatable operation. Furthermore, the machine integrates seamlessly into most bottling layouts.


Importantly, the Used Wrap Around SGE year 2013 – 3000 boxes/hour reaches this output capacity thanks to the integration of a divider insertion system, which places cardboard dividers (commonly known as alveare) between bottles. This feature stabilizes the packs during carton folding and gluing operations, and ensures safe handling, especially in multi-row configurations.


The machine is configured to work with bottles of 0.75 L and supports multiple carton formats, including 3×2, 3×4, and 3×6. This format versatility enhances its adaptability across a wide range of packaging needs.

The Used Wrap Around SGE year 2013 processes up to 3000 cartons per hour, both in the 3×2 and 3×4 formats. Consequently, the 3×2 configuration yields 18,000 bottles per hour, while the 3×4 configuration handles 36,000 bottles per hour. The 3×6 configuration further extends the machine’s capacity, allowing even higher bottle output depending on the production layout.


The machine uses a straight-line infeed system that guides bottles into the carton blank positioning area. Once the bottles are in place, the system folds a flat carton blank around them and seals it using hot-melt glue. The entire process—forming, folding, and gluing—is mechanically synchronized to ensure high packaging precision. Moreover, the modular design allows for fast format changes and simplified maintenance. Above all, the machine maintains stable output even during peak production.


Electrical and Mechanical Specifications


The machine operates on 400 Volts, 50 Hertz, and draws a maximum of 42 kW. This power supports key functions such as motorized feeding, carton forming, and gluing. Additionally, S.G.E. designed the wrap around with rugged components, which resist wear and ensure long-term reliability.
