FLXfinish+ Option: While the 1630 can be upgraded to support basic matte/gloss finishes, the 1650 fully utilizes the FLXfinish+ system. This allows you to print a combination of matte and gloss finishes simultaneously in a single pass, without changing inks, changing varnish, or swapping media.

Double-Sided Printing: Offers fully integrated support for seamless, automated double-sided printing (useful for indoor/outdoor blockout banners).

Dual-Roll Feed: Unlocks automated roll-feeding and automated switching across 2 active media rolls smoothly, whereas the base 1630 comes standard with a single-roll configuration.
