This Case Erector not only forms cardboard boxes of the “American” type but also ensures high efficiency and reliability. Additionally, it seals the bottom of each box with hot melt glue, and, most importantly, it processes up to 23 boxes per minute. Carton Magazine and Carton Transfer Carriage


First, the machine features a horizontally mounted carton magazine at the lower rear, which optimizes space and provides easy access for loading. Furthermore, the multifunction carton transfer carriage picks, opens, and transfers cartons using an electromechanical control system. As a result, this setup ensures precise, continuous operation and significantly reduces downtime during format changes or adjustments.


Flap Closing and Glue Application


Next, this machine automatically manages the closing of box flaps. Specifically, it closes the short lower flaps using an electro-pneumatic command, while the long flaps close as the carton moves. In addition, the hot melt glue unit ensures a reliable, secure bottom seal. Consequently, the machine handles these processes entirely automatically, which, in turn, increases efficiency and minimizes the need for manual intervention.


Control and Safety Systems


In terms of control, the machine continuously monitors the presence of cartons in the magazine and during transfer through advanced control systems. Moreover, it alerts operators when excess cartons accumulate at the exit. Operators, meanwhile, control all machine functions via a touch-screen display, which simplifies adjustments and format changes. Additionally, this display immediately shows any anomalies or technical issues, which helps improve preventive maintenance efforts.
