Loma Systems IQ² | Pipeline Metal Detector

Manufacturer: Loma Systems
Model: IQ² (IQ2)
Aperture diameter: Ø 53 mm
Overall dimensions: 550 mm x 500 mm x 1530 mm

The Loma Systems IQ² is an advanced, industrial metal detector specifically designed for inspecting products conveyed through pressurized pipelines. Devices from the British brand Loma are synonymous with reliability and the highest sensitivity in the food inspection systems industry. This model is designed for use with liquid, semi-liquid, viscous, and dense fillings.

Thanks to its 53 mm aperture diameter, the detector is perfectly suited for continuous monitoring of meat masses (sausage and hot dog fillings), pâtés, sauces, soups, jams, liquid dairy products (processed cheeses), and fats. The IQ² series machine is characterized by exceptional precision in detecting metal contaminants – both magnetic (iron) and non-magnetic (brass, aluminum), as well as the most difficult to detect stainless steel.

Key features and advantages:
- Pipeline integration (Inline): The device's construction enables seamless inline installation directly behind vacuum filling machines from leading brands, before clipping machines or in pumping systems.

- Advanced IQ² technology: An intelligent microprocessor and an automatic product learning system effectively compensate for the so-called "product effect" (often occurring with conductive, moist, and salty fillings). This prevents false alarms and downtime on the production line.
