KAEV Hydraulic Cutting System Available

Complete KAEV hydraulic cutting system, originally used for die cutting acoustic composites and laminated automotive parts.

1. Hydraulic beam cutting press

Four-column press with double-balanced yoke, self-lubricating bushings, column covers and two hydraulic cylinders integrated into the frame. The two-stage hydraulic pump provides fast approach and a slower, high-power cutting stroke. Hydraulic unit capacity: up to 300 litres; oil included.

Features include automatic die-finding to set the lowest cutting point and infinitely adjustable return stroke. The control cabinet has a touch-screen panel and OMRON PLC, with scope for extensions and additional equipment. Standard software includes error indication, modem for internet connection, setup/manual/automatic modes and German/English interface. Protective covers and safety photocells are fitted.

2. Pneumatic clamping beam feeder

Rear-mounted feeder with one travelling beam pair for feeding material under the press and one pair for pulling and holding material. Feeding is driven by toothed belts and a frequency-controlled geared motor. The servo-driven pulling beams hold material securely and can reposition it backwards to a programmed position. PLC-controlled electro-pneumatic cabinet. Feed length is set at the touch-screen panel. Material is supported by a belt; the feeding area by a steel plate.

3. Cutting pad shuttle unit

The cutting pad moves in sync with material feeding to the front of the press, allowing convenient removal of cut parts. A linear drive and frequency-controlled geared motor move the shuttle frame. An automatic pad-shifting system connected to the cutting block changes the cutting position within a defined area, reducing repeated cuts in the same spot and extending pad life. A horizontal safety light curtain (approx. 1,200 mm) stops movement if the operator enters the shuttle area.
