The machine is designed for continuous operation within high-speed bottling lines and is capable of achieving a nominal maximum output of 6,000 bottles per hour under optimal working conditions.


The capping process employed by this equipment involves positioning the aluminium closure over the bottle neck and applying a controlled rolling action that forms the cap’s threads in perfect alignment with the bottle’s neck finish. The result is a closure that is both secure and easy to open by the end user, with the anti-tamper band remaining intact until the first opening. This machine operates in an anticlockwise rotation and has been configured to handle multiple bottle formats. Among the supported formats are standard Bordolese bottles, larger Bordolese variants, and two additional format types adaptable through format change parts. Format changeover is performed by replacing the necessary components, allowing the operator to configure the machine for the required bottle height, diameter, and closure specifications.


Technical Operation and Capabilities

The rolling knives or rollers in each head are adjustable to match the closure specifications, allowing fine-tuning for the correct thread formation and tamper band application.


The machine’s mechanical synchronization ensures that bottle transfer from the conveyor into the starwheel, through the capping cycle, and onto the discharge conveyor occurs without misalignment or cap displacement. An integrated bottle clamping system holds each container securely during the capping operation, preventing rotation of the bottle while allowing the cap to be formed precisely.
