Electronic scanning for checking the lid deflection. A special sensor is fitted above the flow of bottles or cans in free flow and measurement begins after the trigger light barrier has been passed. The sensor is continuously scanned according to the measuring cycle. Faulty caps are detected and ejected on the basis of the cap deflection.
