Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes, e.g. hygiene wipes, cleaning wipes, baby wipes, disinfecting wipes. The production process includes unwinding of the nonwoven from the jumbo roll, slitting for a 2-lane production process (until packaging), dipping into liquid, longitudinal folding in Z- or W-fold, cross cutting (tissue length), 1 x cross folding, stacking, continue to packaging unit which handles film feeding and wrapping wet wipes, punching the hole (to open the pack), positioning of reclosable label, bag cutting/heat sealing.
