The system is designed to reduce NOx emissions from diesel and natural gas engines with outputs ranging from 1020 to 3300 kW. NOx reduction rates, depending on engine make and model, range between 90–98%.
The exhaust gas cleaning unit is also suitable for an MTU 3.3 MW engine (mtu 20V4000 DS4000), as a lower NOx reduction rate was required in that specific project. Suitability of the containerized system for a particular engine always depends on the combined factors of exhaust mass flow, exhaust gas temperature, and the required NOx reduction rate.
These systems were originally branded, designed, and sold by MTU Rolls-Royce and were manufactured according to their specifications by H+H Engineering & Service GmbH.
H+H Engineering & Service GmbH has provided the seller with the option to commission the units and/or to supply a one-year warranty.
