The first machine module features an automatic carton erector with a carton magazine, servo-controlled carton feed, folding and erecting station, insertion and transport line, and integrated control stations. The second module includes the collation packer with product grouping, pre-folding station, lifting and transfer system, carton insertion, carton closer, as well as transport and conveyor systems to the discharge point.

The high-quality equipment includes an integrated Mettler Toledo Garvens XS3 check weigher (weighing range 7–700 g, resolution 0.1 g), a BLUHM label printing and dispensing system, a Wolke m600 inkjet marking system, and several camera and inspection systems for controlling print quality, labels, and packaging quality. Defective products are automatically detected and rejected.

Operation is carried out via several modern industrial touch panels with graphical system visualization. The PLC control system features recipe management, user management, fault diagnosis, message storage, and modern servo drive technology with EtherCAT communication for precise and reliable production processes.

The complete system is fully enclosed and equipped with interlocked safety doors, emergency stop devices, safety monitoring, and optical signal towers, meeting high requirements for operator and system safety.
