Can seamer with vacuum group

CUOMO AGM4

CUOMO AGM4 Automatic Can Seamer with 24-Valve Vacuum System

The CUOMO AGM4 automatic can seamer is equipped with a 24-valve vacuum system, designed for continuous operation in industrial canning lines. It evacuates air from the headspace and then hermetically seals metal containers.

The system combines a 24-valve rotary unit for vacuum operation with the automatic seamer, allowing the inside of the can to be conditioned before the double seaming process. This configuration is particularly suitable for canned products where it is necessary to reduce residual air and achieve an adequate vacuum in the sealed container.

PROCESS

Pre-filled cans automatically enter the 24-valve unit, where the vacuum operation is performed before sealing.

This process reduces the amount of air in the can, helping to achieve the required vacuum conditions after sealing.

Next, the cans are synchronously transferred to the CUOMO AGM4 seamer. The lid is placed on each can, and the sealing mechanism performs the necessary operations to form the hermetic double seam between the lid and the can body.

Once sealed, the cans can continue to:

Can washers
Seam inspection systems
Weight checkers
Autoclaves
Pasteurizers
Cooling systems
Labelers
Case packers
Palletizers

APPLICATIONS

Particularly suitable for canning industries processing vegetables, fish, meat, ready meals, and other canned food products where it is necessary to control residual air and the can's vacuum before or during the sealing process.

The compatible can formats and dimensions will depend on the tooling currently installed and the specific configuration of the machine.

The combination of CUOMO AGM4 + 24-valve vacuum system provides an industrial solution for automatically performing the vacuum conditioning and subsequent hermetic sealing of cans.

Machine available for inspection.
