Fixed-bed milling machine, Nicolás Correa BRAVA-30, built in 2005.

Working table measuring 3,500 × 1,100 mm with six 22 mm T-slots and a maximum permissible load of 8,000 kg. Axis travels of 3,000 mm in X, 1,250 mm in Y and 1,500 mm in Z.

Automatic UAD milling head with 0.1° indexing on both swivel axes and hydraulic tool clamping, ISO 50 spindle taper to DIN 69871. Front bearing diameter of 85 mm. Constant torque of 760 Nm between 20 and 375 rpm. Main spindle rated at 30 kW with constant power from 375 to 6,000 rpm and a speed range of 20 to 6,000 rpm.

Cutting feed of 30 m/min and maximum acceleration of 12 m/s². Ball screws measuring 80×30 mm on the X axis, 50×20 mm on the Y axis and 63×25 mm on the Z axis.

Heidenhain workpiece touch probe fitted, plus provision for a Renishaw measuring probe. Portable handwheel. External coolant system together with internal coolant supply through the spindle. Chip removal by two screw-type augers and one lateral hinged-belt conveyor. Fully enclosed guarding.
