Founded in 1986 by Radosav Nikolić in a 16 m² garage in Hannover, the forklift company quickly developed into a specialist for sideloaders and four-way forklifts:

With the NIKOLIC electric sideloader, the company even designed its own industrial truck, which necessitated a production facility. Thus, in 1988, the company moved to its current location in Garbsen, where it found ideal conditions to drive the growth of Nikolic Gabelstapler with customer-oriented solutions.

Since 2008, we have been cooperating in the sideloader segment with BAUMANN Cavaion Sideloaders and have since been distributing diesel, LPG, and electric sideloaders of various series, ranging from 3.0 to 10.0 tons, across Northern Germany.

We also serve our customers in the area of counterbalance forklifts and warehouse technology with independent service and sales of new equipment. In 2005, we began our successful collaboration with HYUNDAI Heavy Industries and, since 2008, have acted as the general importer for all of Northern Germany and the new federal states. Our robust and comprehensive materials handling product range extends from electric pallet trucks up to diesel forklifts with a lifting capacity of 25 tons.

In 2011, a generational change took place, with Nikola and Miša Nikolić, the founder's sons, taking over the management of the company. The transfer of Radosav Nikolic’s 35 years of experience in materials handling technology and forklifts to his sons, coupled with their aim to further develop the company’s strengths in a targeted way, will ensure the continued success of the business into the future.

Today, Nikolic Gabelstapler employs 30 staff members and remains, as in the past, a competent partner for all matters relating to materials handling technology, providing support and expert advice.
