Application:
Lehmann gravity band filters PF are band filters used for cleaning coolants and lubricants (KSS) employed in metal cutting processes.
They can be used as standalone cleaning units on machine tools or in combination with chip conveyors.
Typically, these are used locally (for a single machine tool).

Filter process description:
1. Dirty liquid flows into the filter sump via the inlet box
2. The filter fleece retains contaminants as the liquid passes through
3. The contaminants form a filter cake that separates even the finest particles
4. The cleaned liquid collects in the clean tank

Regeneration process:
1. The growing filter cake increases the flow resistance
2. The liquid level in the filter sump rises
3. At a defined level, the belt drive switches on (alternatively: time-controlled)
4. The carrier belt pulls a section of clean filter fleece onto the filter surface
5. The liquid level decreases
6. A sludge container receives the soiled filter fleece
